Spring Break - 2018

Had the wonderful opportunity to travel to the Bavarian Countries in Europe this past Spring Break from School.
A wonderful, great, but, cold temps pilgrimage through Italy, Switzerland/Swiss Alps, Austria, and Germany for 77 of us from all over the Texas Catholic Dioceses.

Training for Teaching Hygiene to the Southwest Indian Reservations - Missionary Work

Hopefully soon, after I go through my Training to Teach Hygiene to the Southwest Indian Reservations. Which are some of the poorest Indian Reservations in our country.
Feel blessed I have this opportunity in my life.

Pilgrimage Spring Break Trip to Portgual & Spain

This past March I was blessed with the opportunity to travel with my church to Europe-Portugal and Spain for the 100th. year anniversary of Our Lady Of Fatima. Two beautiful countries with many traditions. We all had such a wonderful time, great cool weather.

Missionary Trip - Summer 2016

August 6th. My Birthday! I'll have been given the gift of being chosen to represent my Chapter part of the International Educators/Altruistic Sorority I'm a member of, ADK Epsilon Pi - Texas. At the Missionary Trip to South Dakota. From August 6th - 10th. We will be dedicating a Book Mobile to the Lakota-Sioux Indian Reservation. Along with filling their schools with much needed books as well. They were our winners this year for our major volunteer/missionary help to others in the U.S. and Abroad. We have raised funds in the past and built two schools. One in Vietnam, and one in Peru. This program in the Sorority is called World Understanding. :) Recently this past June I was asked to volunteer, and serve on the Texas State World Understanding Committee at State Convention.

Late Spring is off to a busy start at my school, and in Grayson County. I am begining my 3rd. two-year term as a Grayson County Historial Commissioner. This is a volunteer position,but your asked to serve from the Mayor of your community. My late husband Gordon and I bought an Historical Home in the community. Built in 1907, the home has a State Marker, and is know as The Martindale-Lacky-Hudgins House. I still own this home, it is a great weekend place to get away in the country.

Pilgrimage to Ireland

In March/2015 (spring-break) I had an oppurtunity to visit the beautiful country of Ireland. On a 8-day pligrimage through my church. There were 54 of us on this trip, and yes, I thought Ireland was as beautiful as the pictures I've seen, and as I imagined it to be. Hope to vacation, and visit this country again.
